| KAP Report on Burundian in Mahama Refugee Camp | n an effort to better understand how COVID-19 plays out in high density population areas in Rwanda, Save the Children conducted a Rapid Assessment of COVID-19 awareness among Burundian refugees in Mahama Camp. This site was selected because it was deemed to be one of the places where it is difficult to implement standard measures (e.g. social distancing, hand washing with soap, etc.). The study provided a snapshot and useful information about refugees’ knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to COVID-19. | 09/07/2020 | 522KB |

| IYCF-E Capacity Mapping Tool Version 1. 0, | We are glad to share with you all, a fantastic IYCF-E Capacity Mapping Tool Version 1. 0, that was developed by UNICEF and Save the Children East Southern Africa Regional Office. The tool is universal, so it can be used and recommended in all contexts. It has been used already in several contexts, in ESAR and Latin America regions for example. It s a first version, but solid at this stage. As stated, this is a version 1.0, and hopefully in 6 months or so, we will try to collect experiences, feedback, inputs, so that we could look at a version 1.1 in 2021.

| Investment in Children Programme Brief | In 2013, Save the Children began implementing Child Rights Governance (CRG) activities in Rwanda. A CRG preliminary analysis highlighted that while policies and strategic plans for children were in place, their implementation was impeded by limited budgetary allocations. Hence the need for a comprehensive public finance analysis to determine exact budget allocations and assess Rwanda’s Investment in Children (IiC) footprint. An in-depth IiC analysis was commissioned in order to gather evidence on progress, challenges and opportunities for Save the Children to improve IiC in Rwanda. | 27/07/2016 | 1MB |
| Increasing funding for Supplementary Materials within the Ca | In order for Rwandan pre-primary and lower primary pupils to learn how to read and develop a reading culture, they need a variety of age-appropriate books. Text books alone are not enough. | 29/10/2015 | 2MB |
